for the moments that matter

For the moments that deserve more than a card

Some days do not fit neatly into birthday or wedding. An anniversary, a graduation, a move abroad, the kind of day that deserves more than a card from the shop on the way, but does not have an obvious gift attached to it.

Encore works the same way for any of them: one Organizer, a private link sent to the people who matter, and a letter-book gathered quietly and opened at whatever moment feels right.

how it works

How it works

  1. Pick the moment

The Organizer decides what the milestone is, whether that is an anniversary, a graduation or someone starting a new chapter somewhere else entirely, and invites the right people around it.

  2. People write around it

Everyone invited adds a letter, photos or a voice note in their own time, addressed to whatever this particular moment means to them.

  3. It opens when it should

The finished letter-book stays sealed until the date, the ceremony, or whatever moment the Organizer has chosen to open it.

what people add

People add a letter about what the moment means to them, photos that mark how far someone has come, or a voice note for when writing it down does not feel like enough.

Every milestone Encore ends the same way: one letter-book, opened at exactly the moment the Organizer chose for it, with everyone who wrote watching it land.

what counts as a milestone

An anniversary, a graduation, a big move, a promotion, retirement from a hobby rather than a job, the day someone finally finishes the thing they have been working towards for years. If it feels like it deserves more than a card, it likely qualifies.

A family marking a wedding anniversary can gather grandchildren, old friends and neighbours into one letter-book the same way a graduate's parents can gather teachers, teammates and cousins into another. The occasion sets the tone; the format stays the same.

questions

Which occasions fit?

Anniversaries, graduations, big moves, promotions, and any day that marks a real change but does not have an obvious gift attached to it. If it feels significant to the people around the person, it is very likely a fit.

Can the reveal be scheduled for a future date?

Yes. The Organizer chooses when the letter-book unlocks, whether that is a specific date, straight after a ceremony, or whenever feels right once everything has been gathered.

Who should be invited to write?

Anyone whose voice would mean something to the person the milestone belongs to: family, old friends, colleagues, teachers, teammates. There is no fixed guest list to fill.

How many people make it work?

There is no minimum. A handful of close family members can make a letter-book that lands just as hard as one with fifty contributors; it is the writing that carries the weight, not the headcount.

What does the recipient experience?

A single cinematic letter-book, unlocked by answering one question only they would know: a candlelit opening, the letters, photos and voice notes people gathered for them, and a finale that closes the moment properly.
