Is this instead of a guest book?
It can replace a guest book entirely, or sit alongside one. Most couples use it as the main way guests contribute something lasting, since it holds letters, photos and voice notes rather than a single signed line.
Can guests write before the wedding without spoiling it?
Yes. The Organizer can open collecting weeks in advance and keep it hidden behind a secret word the couple never sees, so writing happens quietly beforehand and the reveal still lands as a surprise.
What about family who cannot attend?
They write through the same private link as everyone else, from wherever they are. Distance or a missed flight does not stop anyone from being part of the finished letter-book.
How do voice notes work?
Guests record straight from their phone, no app or account needed. It is often the format people choose when a written line does not feel like enough for the couple.
When do the couple see it?
Whenever the Organizer decides: at the reception itself, the next morning, or on an anniversary later on. The letter-book stays sealed until that moment, however far off it is.
